Kids and families will have the opportunity to either fish from shore or sign up to go out on a boat and fish an established oyster reef. Depending on weather and conditions, expect to fish Ft. Carroll Reef, right outside the Key Bridge ruins. Sign-ups are required, and we will notify kids and their parents of availability as we get closer to the event.
Living Classroom will be on-site with Lady Maryland, providing both deck tours from 2 to 5 pm and two options to sail aboard from 12-2 and 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Chesapeake Bay Foundation will be on site with the Snow Goose doing deck tours.
Back on land, help us keep our waterways clean and vibrant by pitching in on a Peninsula-wide clean-up effort. Or help create the habitat of tomorrow at our Reef Ball Build.
